Well…once again I crash and burn at the end of the Dog Days! Kreg was nice enough to leave the master feed running so that Charlotte and I could both get a wrap-up episode out, though…thanks, Kreg! I express how much I’ve enjoyed the DDOP this year, I share the new podcast (His and Her Geekery) that Charlotte and I will be starting, and chat a little about Dragon Con and the trip. Five days left…let’s have some DDOP fun! I talk about folks already checking in for Dragon Con today (“Monday is the new Thursday…”), I ramble on for much longer than I intended about my Pokemon walk today, then I talk about food…specifically, onions! I do love an onion on a sandwich; even to the point of an onion sandwich. Tasty! Finally, I talk a bit about sleep…my experience with CPAPs, the healthy sleep formula, my use of nose strips, and my recent purchase of a snore aid device. Talk to you again tomorrow!

DDOP episode 24…which means I’m a day behind again! *sigh* A long day of yard work yesterday got things started in that hectic way that weekends go. I was lying in bed before I realized I hadn’t done a podcast, and unlike Dave Slusher, I just rolled over and fell asleep. 🙂

I talked a bit about the yard work of the past couple of days, and tried to wrap up before the dogs went insane…that didn’t quite work. I hope the ending isn’t *too* jarring as they noticed a squirrel or something outside and decided to defend the Homeland. I’m intending on catching up tonight, so I’ll chat again in a few hours!

Next to last Friday of the Dog Days! I realize at this point next week we’ll be hip-deep in Dragon Con, so I review our (wacky) Dragon Con schedule. Whew! Another bear of a commute today; traffic outside of Charlotte was backed up from an accident. I’m dog tired, but I wanted to get out another episode and get back in the thick of things! I told Chiaki how emotional the story of his co-dogwalker made me, and expressed my enjoyment of Mark’s audio drama, “Note to self at age 7”.

Just a little car episode…I hit episode 150 today, but I also missed posting an episode last night! I just crashed out at the townhouse after a long drive and a busy day. I’m going to do my best to get both this and another episode out today, just to get back in sync. It doesn’t change the fact that I missed a day, but at least I’ll be back in the correct numbering scheme!
