We start out with a discussion…well, before Battle and Brew, I rant about the Mad At Dad Deathpool. I’m screwed, but it’s my own fault. Refocus…I discuss our evening at Battle and Brew, and hand my mike over to my lovely wife Charlotte to discuss her Hearthstone games, when she hijacks the podcast to accuse me of tricking her into a Pokemon Go addiction. Which I kinda did. *grin* Tonight, we had dinner at Fado’s, a local Irish pub, and searched the streets of Atlanta for rare Pokemon.
Oh yeah, and Charlotte decided to join the Dog Days!!! WOOT!!!!

Nothing too exciting today…I had a bit of a hectic day at work, so I decided to just play off of the sports (mostly Olympic) related posts I’d been hearing, and talk about my sports passions…mainly Duke collegiate teams. I *love* Duke basketball, but I have also found a place in my heart for Duke football, and this is my second year with season tickets for the football team. It’s a lot of fun!

Day 5, and I’ve already fallen off the wagon! Weekends are my nemesis wrt scheduling a podcast, it appears…I barely made it on Saturday, and I failed completely yesterday. I was a day ahead, so I’m still running OK in the Dog Days, but I’ve got no buffer left. I’m hoping to fill that up again this evening, but for now, a quick post welcoming Amy Bowen, a mini-concert review for the Rock and Roll Geek Show, and a response to Mark’s mention of the Next Radio app for smartphones. Woohoo….I made it! Today got a little out of sorts; I needed to make some changes to my podcatcher to prioritize DDOP. Changes that I already discussed on the DDOP Facebook group, but I didn’t actually implement. Doh! Thankfully, I managed to manually download enough of the Dog Days podcasts that I had something to reply to! Sunday will be better. 🙂
