Today I tell the story of my handyman accomplishment of the weekend. On Sunday, I installed a new garbage disposal under the kitchen sink! Huzzah…just call me the house plumber. (not!)

Hi all! Missed a day yesterday; I was part way through the podcast when folks started showing up for dinner, and I didn’t manage to wrap things up in time…oh well! I discuss our Arctic Scavengers game from Saturday night, and our Doctor Who watching from Sunday. We’re now finished with the first seven series of the new run; we watched Matt Smith regenerate into Peter Capaldi last night. Now we’re ready for Series 8, which is mostly new for both of us!

Just a “summary of my day” sort of podcast. We bought teacher school supplies, sorted some costuming accessories for DragonCon, I realized my phone battery needs immediate replacing, and we got ready to play a game of Arctic Scavengers (not mentioned on the podcast…Charlotte was sorting the cards while I recorded). Excelsior!

Podcasting as I head home to NC, I agree with Mark the Encaffeinated One and Michael Butler the Rock and Roll Geek in comparing the feel of the DDOP to the early days of podcasting. It’s a very small town, talk to each other feel. I also express my relief in hearing some DragonCon talk, and I look forward to seeing everyone there!
