Tonight I discuss the EPIC Card Game; this is a multi-player (2-4) card game that is similar to Magic: The Gathering, but a bit simpler, and also not a collectible game. You get all the cards necessary to play in the base pack, which is only $15. It’s a fun game that I highly recommend if you enjoy Magic-style card games.

Today I discuss Android: Netrunner. This is a fun 2 player Living Card Game (ie, no random boosters) pitting a wily Netrunning Hacker against the ICE defenses of a mega-powerful Corporation. The game can involve quite a bit of deception and bluffing…and who doesn’t love messing with other people’s heads??? 🙂

Tonight I switch gears a bit and talk about the MMO that Charlotte and I have played the most; World of Warcraft. We’ve played together off and on for almost 9 years, and the game has certainly changed over that time…but we still like it!

Tonight we discuss Harpoon; a *very* (1985-ish) old school hard-core wargame that I started playing while I was in NROTC. Very detailed and precise, but also very enjoyable. Good times!

Tonight is another Steve Jackson Games review; Awful Green Things from Outer Space! It’s an old school (first published in 1979) 2 person tactical combat game that is SUPER fun, silly, and one of my personal favorites. There’s some luck of the draw to how things go, but even that has its own set of tactics. This game is still in print, and I still love it.
