Nerd project Saturday. I decided to go to the bottom of the stack for starters, and talk about the infrastructure underneath my latest project…Linode. Not only can they handle nerd projects like mine, however; they can also do stuff like one-click setup for Minecraft, Terraria, and TF2! Good stuff!

It’s Summer resolution Tuesday, so let’s talk about something that’s been percolating about in my brain for several months now…it’s time to get rid of Dropbox. On the one hand I’m sad, but on the other, it’s gotten annoying enough that it’s time to go. And on the gripping hand…they are taking money from me now, and I have other options that are either free, or that I’m already paying for!

Hello, everyone! (eh..mostly DDOP folks, LOL) Today, I talk about a nerdy project that I’m insterested in and have been playing with recently; Keybase.io. It’s a tool to provide everyone with secure chat, filesystems, and group messaging, and it’s pretty darn cool.
