(I’m dropping this in the podcast feed, though I’m not counting it as today’s work for the Dog Days of Podcasting.)

My first time being interviewed by another podcaster…pretty crazy! I’ve known Paul Fidalgo for years now. We’ve never actually met (in fact, this interview is the first time we’ve even *spoken*), but between his music, his blog, and various online social media accounts, I feel that we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well. He’s a classically trained stage actor who also spent time in national politics (among other things, he worked as a researcher for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 campaign). He now lives in Maine, and works for The Center for Inquiry.

He’s also a great guy with a lovely family, and I’m quite honored to have been asked to join him on the Obcast. Thanks again, Paul.

Short podcast; I’ve been on another one most of the night. I talk about the day a bit. My discussion with Paul was interesting…he really made me think about why I am doing this, and what I’m trying to get out of it. I appreciate that. He’s quite the hoopy frood.

OK, I have to admit, “The Name of the Wind” has caught my fancy. I finished it this morning, and I discuss what I like about the series.
