You can also do the reverse, edit the .txt file for you clipping and save it on the kindle, sort of nice to add quotes and notes that you want to reference on your kindle.

Justin, glad you got to this area ! I guess Brad Stone didn't try to reach you?

Anyway, yes, it will help you. The book is available for a few $ and is worth it.

BUT, the My Clippings file can be a mess, with everything out of order,
so I did a Twitter shoutout to you to try the Word Macro by TheProfessor
for the file, as it puts everything into order, and then you can use it in your
computer as Ken has shown, to print it out after you've run the macro
and it is all organized better. Here's an explanation of what the macro

Hey! One of my friends google searched my name to find the article I was in and sent me here!

Six degrees of separation, huh?

Anyways, it's true that my work is saved in the My Clipping folder. I just looked, but, it's honestly not going to be much help because I don't have the book to refer back too. Plus, I was looking forward to taking my notes off the website where they are stored in order to go through it all.

The clippings tell me my annotations and the like, but without being able to refer back to the text, it's not to helpful.

Though, it is better than nothing, and I appreciate this very much.

I really appreciate the comment, Andrys…thanks! Great to know that you emailed Brad Stone…excellent idea. Hopefully someone will get in contact with Justin; I'd hate to be in his shoes, thinking all that work was lost. If enough of us get the word out, “6 degrees of separation” should eventually take care of it. Vive la interwebs!

I also emailed Brad Stone to let Justin know (no response from Stone after a day) and tweeted today to ask if Stone or anyone else had let Justin know that his notes are likely still in the My Clippings file, as they are separately copied there as well as being put into the now-deleted secondary-file for the book itself.

Let's hope someone finds Justin. Stone should have a way.
